The 2010 Easter Seals Campaign on Prince Edward Island is underway. Please find below the schedule of events.


KICK OFF EVENT

January 18th, the 2010 Easter Seals PEI Campaign kicked off at the luncheon meeting of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown, at the Delta Prince Edward. The Rotary meeting was recorded by Eastlink and was televised locally on January 25, 2010.


FUNDRAISING DANCE - Montague Consolidated School

February 18th, 2010

The Montague Home & School Association have organized a school drance in aid of Easter Seals PEI.
 


SLEIGH RIDE

Feb 21st, 2010

Come out and join the winter fun! The grandfathers of Colton Matheson, our 2010 Ambassador, will host a sleigh ride. Please contact Jamie Matheson for details.
 


VARIETY CONCERT - Montague Lions Club

February 25th, 2010 at 8pm  Kayle Hall at Pooles Corner

Enjoy some local flavour entertainment, door prizes and a guest appearance by our 2010 Ambassador Colton Matheson. Contact Robert Benoit of the Montague Lions Club for details. Donations accepted at the door - free admission.

ROCKET TOONIE-TOSS

March 6th, 4 pm Charlottetown Civic Centre

Hockey Game featuring the PEI Rocket and our important Toonie-Toss! fundraiser. Come out for an evening of great hockey - support the PEI Rocket & Easter Seals and meet the 2010 Ambassador, Colton Matheson. At the game Rotarians will distribute envelopes for the spectacular Toonie-Toss!


EASTER BEEF SHOW & SALE

March 12th, 2010 at 1pm.    Canada Games Trade Centre, Charlottetown

Easter Beef Show & Sale - a great annual event unique to PEI. Colton Matheson, the 2010 Ambassador, will be publicly introduced and will be giving a speech at the closing banquet. Come out and support Island farmers and Easter Seals.


DOOLYS SUMMERSIDE - POOL TOURNAMENT

Final date to be determined but scheduled for March 13th, 2010. Come out and join the fun!

PEI EASTER SEALS TELETHON

Sunday, March 28th   2 pm to 5 pm    Featuring Murray McLaughlin

PEI Easter Seals Telethon at the Confederation Centre of the Arts with live broadcast on CBC television. Pick up tickets at the Confederation Centre box office and make a donation at the door. Phone-in donations will be accepted.


DOOLYS CHARLOTTETOWN - POOL TOURNAMENT

PEI ROAD RUNNERS - ANNUAL FUN RUN

Run date to be determined with a portion of the fundraising being donated to Easter Seals PEI.
 


TIM HORTONS SCHOOL TOUR

April 14th to 21st, 2010 

Tim Hortons PEI Easter Seals Ambassador's School Tour. Colton Matheson, the 2010 Ambassador, will take his campaign to schools throughout PEI. Sponsored by Tim Hortons.
 

DROP ZONE 2010

Stay tuned for anexciting new fundraiser, Easter Seals Drop Zone, where fundraisers dressed as superheroes will rappel off the roof of one of Charlottetown's tallest buildings. It is scheduled to take place in June 2010. Drop Zone raises awareness, heart rates and fundraising dollars that stay in PEI. Challenge yourself - get involved!

 

FUNDRAISING DINNER - Sr. Isaac's Restaurant, Montague

CAMPAIGN WRAP UP

Easter Seals PEI Campaign Wrap Up will take place at a luncheon meeting of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown, at the Delta Prince Edward. The Wrap Up will be subsequently televised on Eastlink.
